About Us – Welcome to Le Celtique Rawai, Phuket, Thailand

A Neighborhood Favorite
for 20 Years

Our story

We're Bertrand and Lek, a husband and wife team for more than 20 years. Our love story started in late 1990s, when young chef Bertrand was traveling through Asia after working with his father in a flagship restaurant in Morocco. After meeting Khun Lek for the first time, something changed in adventurers heart. After a brief spell in Hong Kong and Japan, the couple decided to settle on the paradise island of Phuket. Bertrand and Lek are proud fathers of little Enya and Theo, which you can often see running around the restaurant and welcoming guests from near and far. We hope you will enjoy our company as much as you enjoy ours.

A Neighborhood Hub

For Groups Big & Small

Locals and visitors alike fill our lantern-lit patio for our special events featuring whole grilled pig or lamb on a spit and live music (weekly in high season, and monthly in low season).

Le Celtique first opened in 2000 in the tourist hub of Kata Beach. Hailed by loyal followers as the best French restaurant in Phuket, Le Celtique opened its bespoke venue in Rawaii in 2008. Tucked away on a quiet side street, it's a hidden gem with an excellent wine list and selection of uncommonly available European beers.
